YMC-Triart (U)HPLC Columns
Robust and reproducible (U)HPLC columns with a wide range of stability towards pH (1-12), temperature (up to 90°C) and 100% aqueous eluents: YMC-Triart. 8 modifications provide a broad selectivity range: YMC-Triart C18, C18 ExRS, Bio C18, C8, Bio C4, Phenyl, PFP and Diol-HILIC to meet every need. YMC-Triart columns offer solutions for virtually every analyte. They cover the whole range of very polar to very hydrophobic substances as well as acidic, neutral, and polar compounds. Steric recognition of very similar substances such as isomers is possible with YMC-Triart C18 ExRS, while there is no limit to the use of 100% aqueous eluents on YMC-Triart C18. Full scalability is ensured from 1.9 to 20 µm particle sizes– UHPLC ↔ HPLC ↔ prep.
Bioinert coated YMC Accura (U)HPLC Columns
YMC Accura (U)HPLC columns are characterised by a bioinert surface coating for challenging substances e.g., oligonucleotides or peptides/proteins. They provide excellent peak shapes, secure recovery, and prevent carry-over without any sample preconditioning. YMC Accura Triart as well as YMC Accura BioPro IEX columns are ideal for highly sensitive LC/MS analyses. 10 different stationary phases for RP, HILIC and IEX separations are available.
BioPro IEX Columns
With the BioPro IEX series, YMC provides a range of strong ion exchange materials based on a hydrophilic polymer in two variants: porous and non-porous. YMC’s BioPro IEX series of ion exchange columns are available in QA (SAX) and SP (SCX) chemistries, based on 5 µm porous or on 3 and 5 µm non-porous hydrophilic polymer beads. Due to low non-specific absorption, high recoveries can be achieved using the BioPro IEX series. Using porous BioPro IEX columns high sample loadings can be achieved due to the high dynamic binding capacity. When using non-porous BioPro IEX columns high-throughput analyses with extremely high performance are possible, due to the exceptional mechanic stability of the support. The porous BioPro IEX phases are also available in 10, 20, 30 and 75 µm particle sizes, so that easy scale-up to preparative LC is possible.
YMC-SEC MAB Columns
YMC-SEC MAB is a silica-based size exclusion chromatography column utilizing a dihydroxypropyl stationary phase bonded to a silica gel base, specifically designed for antibody separations. This material offers a 250Å pore size in 3µm particle size, making it an excellent choice for separating aggregates from monomer, as well as effectively resolving lower molecular weight fragments. YMC-SEC MAB exhibits excellent resolution and peak shape over a wide molecular weight range of 10kDa to 700kDa.
BioPro HIC HT and BF HPLC Columns
BioPro HIC HT and BioPro HIC BF are based on a non-porous hydrophobic polymer to provide high resolution at very fast runs and therefore high throughput. They are designed and optimized for the analysis and lab-scale purification of antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and other proteins. BioPro HIC HT is designed for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals such as ADCs or mAbs. BioPro HIC BF shows stronger retention of proteins due to their higher hydrophobicity. It can therefore be used for the separation of low hydrophobic proteins or for oxidized mAbs since the oxidized variants elute earlier than the non-oxidized mAb. Optimized surface modification and the column packing method result in high separation performance. The rigid particle provides higher pressure tolerance compared to other HIC columns, which allows higher flow rates and therefore shorter analysis times.
Coated and Immobilised CHIRAL ART HPLC Columns
Immobilized and coated CHIRAL ART polysaccharide columns from YMC offer a wide selectivity range, high stability, and attractive pricing. Coated CHIRAL ART Amylose-C Neo and Cellulose-C (alternative to AD and OD), as well as immobilized Amylose-SA, Cellulose-SB, Cellulose-SC, Cellulose-SJ (alternative to IA, IB, IC, and IJ) and the latest immobilized Cellulose-SZ (alternative to IM), are available in analytical (3, 5 µm) and semi-preparative HPLC columns and as bulk media (10, 20 µm). Seamless scalability is provided from HPLC to the preparative scale. CHIRAL ART columns cover the whole range of robust NP, RP, and SFC separations and guarantee attractive prices.
YMC Micro/NanoLC Columns
YMC offers capillary columns specifically designed for use with the corresponding chromatography systems to meet the requirements of Micro-, Capillary- and NanoLC. All fully porous RP/NP/HILIC phases from YMC are available in MicroLC and NanoLC columns. They are compatible with nearly all Nano-/MicroLC/MS systems. Capillary columns are suitable for extremely low sample volumes and low flow rates. They are available either with 1/16” connections (10-32 thread) or with 1/32” connections (6-40 thread).
YMC-Actus (Semi)Preparative LC Columns
YMC-Actus prepacked (semi-)preparative HPLC columns show high stability and long lifetimes even under high flow rates and steep gradient conditions without any void volume formation. YMC-Actus (semi-)preparative columns provide excellent column stability and efficiency due to a 10% higher bed density and uniformity. YMC-Actus columns use a specific hardware and packing technology related to dynamic axial compression technology (DAC) to provide the high uniform packing density. This results in much longer lifetimes than conventional semi-preparative columns.
ECO and ECOPLUS Lab Scale Glass Columns
For laboratory scale applications, two different column lines are available with inner diameters from 5 to 80 mm and lengths from 120 to 1000 mm. ECO columns are glass columns for use with almost all types of soft gels and medium pressure liquid chromatography applications. ECOPLUS columns are designed for medium to high pressure applications, so that higher flow rates can be achieved or RP media can be used. In combination with a variety of different frit porosities, the perfect column for every application can be selected.
YMC-Triart Prep LC Stationary Phases
To overcome the limitations of traditional silica-based stationary phases regarding the chemical stability, hybrid silica-based phases have been developed. Hybrid silica contains organic groups within the silicon dioxide network, making it more resistant to a wider pH range. The innovative preparative stationary phase YMC-Triart Prep combines mechanical strength and pH stability. It is stable up to pH 10 which allows more flexibility for process development. Moreover, efficient cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures can be applied! From real-life process development examples, YMC-Triart Prep has been shown to outperform traditional silica-based materials in terms of stability up to 4-fold. Longer column lifetimes lead to greater amounts of product being produced per kilogram of stationary phase. The results mean improved production procedures and reduced overall costs.
